The story of Đi Ăn Đi

Our roots

“It all started at home – with the aroma of fresh herbs and a steaming bowl of phở.”
We grew up surrounded by the scents of Vietnamese cuisine lovingly prepared by our mom, Khuyên.
She comes from Hải Phòng, a city in northern Vietnam, and for her, cooking has always meant more than just food – it’s a way to care for her family, show love, and create the warmth of home.

How it started

“We wanted the aroma of our home to never fade away.”
One day, my brother and I realized it would be a shame if the recipes and the warmth of our family kitchen lived only in our memories.
So we convinced our mom that her cooking deserved its own space – a place where people could feel at home, take a pause, smile, and enjoy a good meal.

Our mother Khuyên

“Every dish carries her touch – and a piece of home.”
Khuyên is behind everything we do. Her recipes have been passed down through generations, and every bite tells a story of care, patience, and the joy of cooking.
She believes that good food brings people together – and that very idea is at the heart of Đi Ăn Đi.

Why Đi Ăn Đi

“Đi Ăn Đi” means “let’s eat” in Vietnamese.
It’s a simple invitation to gather around the table – to share the authentic taste of Vietnam, the warmth of family hospitality, and the pure joy of good food.
From our home to your plate.

Our philosophy

Food is more than just taste – it’s a way to feel good.
Every dish at Đi Ăn Đi is prepared with respect for tradition, fresh ingredients, and simplicity.
We want everyone to feel welcome here – whether you come for a quick lunch or a long dinner with friends.
